Weekly Affirmations – Flexible

Happy Monday Friends!

I know I know, oftentimes the words happy & Monday produce a response that includes a well-deserved eye roll or scoff. BUT if you are here reading this, I’m hoping you are looking to change that some way somehow.

It’s difficult, I’m not discounting that in any way.

On Monday mornings it is my responsibility to get three kids who just enjoyed a weekend of driving me crazy, out of bed, ready for the day, & out the door to drop the oldest one off to school.

Maybe for some moms or those who aren’t parents yet, they don’t quite understand the intricacies of this process. Or you might think it sounds like a bit of a challenge but nothing to whine about or get a medal for. So please hear me when I say, I adore being a Mom. But Monday mornings for a Momma who is not a morning person, to begin with, are just plain hard.

THIS is where having an affirmation can be so helpful!

As I start off a brand new week, not knowing what it will hold [outside of what’s on my busy calendar that is]Β I’m deciding to try my best to be flexible. I can adapt quickly. I can roll with the punches. & so can you.

This week’s affirmation:

I am flexible | I adapt quickly

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Phillipians 4:13

So whatever comes up this week. Smacks me in the face. Rips the rug out from under my feet. Produces so much happiness that I just don’t even know how to express it all. Whatever happens, I choose right now, on this Monday morning that I will remind myself of the above affirmation. I will continue to use positive truths to train my powerful mind to work for me & not against me.Β I am flexible, I can adapt, & I can do it quickly. Yes. Yes, we can.

I’m excited to keep moving forward through this week with grateful joyful hearts, together.

Namesste,

Sarah
